Is Service Important to You?

It’s common to walk into a major department store, big box retailer, or grocery store pay your total and have the representative hand you a receipt with not so much as a thank you (customer service). C’mon, not even the ‘ol have a nice day? Much worse, how about simply looking at a representative coming your way and they abruptly turn around quickly walk the other directing like they forgot something. These are all too common experiences we encounter today as consumers.  

What choices do we have?

Why as consumers do we accept this behavior when we literally have numerous choices to spend our dollars? Not ready to deep dive into psycho-analysis on this one. Yup, it goes way deeper than the representative before you offering empty service. To further this point, I will say this all actually starts at the top of an organization.

So what do we do?

 Well, you make a choice. Continue to accept substandard service for the goods you purchase or consider doing business with a company that fills today’s void of service with genuine service. It’s always your choice, but I am going to share the way we offer the service you deserve at Blackthorne.

1) Should you purchase a hot tub, you are assisted by a sales pro who received high-level product training. His goal is to not sell you a spa but assist you in finding the perfect hot tub for your family. After your selection you receive a deluxe delivery including perfect placement of the hot tub, assembly of all accessories, connection of your existing completed electrical wires to the hot tub, fill the hot tub, addition and balance of water care. Operation consultation which includes a customized laminated water and hot tub guide.

2) Should you purchase a sauna, you receive a very similar delivery experience as a spa purchase.

3) Should you make a purchase in our Superstore, you will be assisted and advised by highly trained personnel.

4) Customers have their purchases walked and placed into their vehicle.

5) Pool and spa customers are offered highly accurate computerized water testing complete with a trained consultant helping you to understand and explain the results.

So there is a peek at the Blackthorne way as it relates to service. Be assured service is part of our fabric. We love and work hard at our profession. We all agree substandard service is more prevalent than ever, but I think a more important point can be made here. Blackthorne provides this level of service because our customers want it.
