Smartop is designed with zero water absorption.
A conventional foam cover can absorb moisture internally as it ages. On a large swim spa cover, that additional weight can make an already substantial cover even more difficult to handle.
Smartop's rigid construction does not absorb water like a traditional foam-core cover, helping prevent the gradual waterlogging associated with conventional covers.
